About Me

I'm Natalie.  Nat to the people I work with, Sweet Pea to my husband, and Natie Jean to the people who've known me most of my life.  I'm addicted to discount books, thrifting, photography, and my husband.  If you walk into our usually cluttered home you'll find evidence of each.  A bookcase double-layered front to back next to the closet.  A coca-cola wooden crate on the counter.  Cameras line every empty space on shelves.  My husband sprawled across the couch.

I'm a new mother to the most adorable little girl that there ever was.  Her name is Avelyn Grace, and my life currently revolves around keeping her happy.  Trying to deter that goal are our two dogs: Wilbur and Rudy.  Rudy is a 2 1/2 year old Beagle who doesn't care what you say, he is not moving from this spot on the couch. Wilbur is a 1 1/2 year old Great Dane who enjoys watching our neighbors mow their lawn. (Over our 6-foot privacy fence, I should add...)
The reason I write this blog is never to 'blow steam' about my husband or my family.  I love to laugh about the things that happen in my life, and how else to celebrate these events than by sharing them with all of you?
